Where We Came From, Where We're Going

Founded by Ethan Nichols (pictured right) following the Parkland Massacre, Ohio Students for Gun Legislation joined the national mission to elect gun-sense candidates into local, state, and federal offices. With a vision to connect young activists and elected officials, OH-SFGL has since partnered with ActBlue as a registered 501(c)4 and furthered its work advocating for the underrepresented. Striking up intentional conversations on peaceful growth, mindfully creating groups of diverse and open-minded activists, and educating the broader community with facts about gun violence are just some of the needs we are filling. The safety of the people in America's communities is not a partisan issue; by electing gun-sense candidates into office, we step closer into a future of less violence.
